While at Merkle, one of my primary responsibilities was managing our Johnny’s Selected Seeds (JSS) account as our Senior Visual Designer. This project involved a much-needed refresh of JSS's existing website, coupled with the integration of Salesforce as their updated CRM software on the backend. Throughout this multi-month project, I successfully revamped various elements including the Homepage, Product Detail Pages (PDP), Product Sets, Cart, Checkout Flow, and CSS pages across all breakpoints. Simultaneously, I revitalized their style guide to ensure a cohesive experience.

I was honored to be handpicked by Bankless HQ and Bankless DAO for a significant project – designing a claims website in anticipation of their new token's debut on the blockchain. A claims website, crucial in the world of decentralized organizations, serves as a touchstone of gratitude and recognition. Here, pioneering contributors to the Bankless DAO movement are acknowledged and rewarded for their foresight, dedication, and efforts during the foundational phases. Given the excitement surrounding the impending launch of the Bankless DAO's new BANK token, the stakes were high. I was presented with a tight timeline - a mere week to bring this vision to life. Yet, I embraced the challenge with gusto. Collaborating closely with a trusted developer, our team was deeply invested in ensuring a flawless user experience. This meant fine-tuning every detail, ensuring seamless connectivity with individual wallets, and anticipating potential pitfalls. When launch day arrived, my collective efforts bore fruit. The website rolled out smoothly, standing as a beacon for thousands of early adopters to stake their claim. The success of this endeavor not only underscores my commitment to excellence but also celebrates the spirit of collaboration between myself, Bankless HQ, Bankless DAO, and the broader community.

Partnering with the LiveArea CX team to undertake a comprehensive redesign of Ascena Retail Group's LOFT brand website. My objective was twofold: to infuse fresh, innovative design elements while seamlessly integrating them into the robust Salesforce backend engine. The journey began with UX wireframing, laying the foundation for a user-centric experience. With a thorough understanding of LOFT's brand essence, we transitioned to the Visual Design phase. Through collaborative efforts, iterative feedback, and a shared vision, I crafted a website that marries elegance with usability. The result? A revitalized digital space, poised for their 2022 relaunch, that promises an intuitive browsing and shopping experience for its users.

I developed a parallax website design specifically for Tides Network. Originating from San Francisco, California, Tides Network is distinctively recognized as a health insurance company adeptly utilizing blockchain technology to ensure the safety and efficiency of its data storage. Our redesign not only represented their innovative approach but also aligns seamlessly with their forward-thinking vision.

In September of 2018 the owner of Moto Brew Coffee Roasters, Andrew Murray reached out to me to rebrand and collaborate on renaming his local Seattle coffee roastery. After four months of development Moto Brew was transformed into Radial Coffee Roasters mixing the passion of motorcycle riding and coffee drinking. The new Radial Coffee Roasters released February 2019. Here is the finished brand, take a cruise on through.

For those who do not know Andrew, he is an avid Motorcyclist with a knack for coffee. Andrew roasts his coffee in his beautiful hand-built coffee shed in his backyard and delivers his coffee locally by motorcycle.

Tommy Bahama approached me with the intention of rejuvenating the logo for their Flipside Rewards program. In response to their request, I curated a variety of design options and conducted an in-depth study. Below, you'll find the array of choices and the comprehensive analysis that I submitted for the team at Tommy Bahama's consideration.

I joined forces with City Limit Moto, a bespoke motorcycle and gear enterprise hailing from Buffalo, NY. I meticulously shaped a holistic brand persona, which included curating a logo, steering the art direction, forging an e-commerce website on Shopify, generating social media content, executing in-house photography, overseeing marketing strategies, and producing essential brand materials.

In May of 2019 I teamed up and worked directly with Microsoft to develop their The Future Computed series for the upcoming 2019 edition. This edition was focused on AI and manufacturing, speaking of the positives and negatives of AI’s impact in the manufacturing sector.

My role during this project was Art Director and Book Designer. I ran the art direction of the book, designed the book, and all social marketing assets for the book’s launch.

I took charge of shaping and upholding the visual essence conveyed via Bankless's international newsletter. Throughout our collaboration with Bankless spanning 2021 to 2023, I crafted 268 distinct graphics for an equal number of newsletter articles. Each visual was designed with a tight turnaround of under 24 hours, yet tailored to resonate with its corresponding article. A t-shirt is a piece of artwork that goes where you go, ties in marketing and fits your lifestyle. Through my design career I've created many t-shirt designs that have been very successful for my clients and have sold all over of the world. Here are my designs from over the years, Enjoy!

In the Summer of 2015 I created a promotional project for American Eagle Outfitters. This was a three piece promotional design for their upcoming Holiday 2015 season. The promotion included a store window template, a bi-fold mailer and an email design.

I had the honor to work with Microsoft’s Corporate, External, & Legal Affairs Team on their first Diversity and Inclusivity report. My role during this project was Senior Graphic Designer, creating the book design, illustrations, spread designs and accessibility. During my time as a Designer for New Alchemy's ICO Marketing Department, I created many logos for blockchain start-up companies. Here are the chosen and studied logos.

I was entrusted with the mission of crafting a radiant brand identity for the Fat Choys NFT collection. Fat Choys, are a collection of 8,888 chunky zodiacs celebrating the Lunar New Year! The collection features 12 adorable animals combined with backgrounds inspired by Chinese Five Element Theory (Wuxing) - water, fire, earth, wood, and metal. Each animal features a random set of cute facial expressions, and each element has three distinct artistic tiers. Choys bring the fun with celebrations, little friends, and custom 1/1s. Throughout this project, I maintained a close partnership with the owner and the character illustrator to encapsulate a brand that truly resonates with these creations.

I was honored to be at the forefront of branding endeavors for the groundbreaking podcast and YouTube channel, "Overpriced JPEGS." Venturing into the intriguing realms of NFTs and the Metaverse, this show stands as a beacon for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. At its helm is the dynamic Carly Reilly, whose accolades include her notable role as the finance director for Andrew Yang. "Overpriced JPEGS" finds its roots in the diverse lineup of shows hosted under the esteemed Bankless banner. And while its genesis may be linked to Bankless, its journey has taken on a life of its own. Branching out, the show has carved a niche for itself, continually engaging and enthralling its ardent followers. My role in this tale of digital innovation was to encapsulate the essence of the show visually and I proudly crafted the first 66 YouTube thumbnails, each reflecting the unique vibe of individual episodes. Beyond this, I played a pivotal role in branding standalone shows, ensuring a cohesive yet fresh identity for every broadcast.

Bloc North West was an internal client project at New Alchemy and the brand was built from the ground up. Brand Development included a logo design, mission statement, tagline, fonts and color usage.

I partnered with New Alchemy to elevate their brand presence and make a significant impact during their breakthrough year in the crypto industry. Our collaboration involved pushing the boundaries of marketing collateral across multiple platforms, seamlessly blending print and digital deliveries. Through our innovative design solutions, we successfully created a diverse range of captivating assets that enhanced New Alchemy's brand and communicated their unique value proposition. From eye-catching print materials to engaging digital experiences, our team skillfully executed various avenues of work, ensuring that New Alchemy stood out in a competitive landscape.

I collaborated with Gitcoin's DAO Events Team to bring forth an extraordinary event known as Meme Palooza. This highly anticipated gathering drew participants from across the globe to Gitcoin's Discord server, where they engaged in a thrilling competition to create timed speed trial memes. The energy was electric as talented creators showcased their skills and unleashed their creativity within the confines of the clock. Meme Palooza celebrated the art of meme-making, recognizing the professionals who shape the humorous and influential visuals that populate the online world. I also worked closely with Gitcoin's governance team to create snapshot graphics for proposals for voting. The collateral created were POAP's and social media posters.

I was responsible for creating the new visual identities for Bankless's Youtube show lineup. From existing shows to newly created podcasts, we were there every step of the way to create new visual identities designed to be eye-catching and positive clickbait-styled to bring views to all of the videos posted. I created a total of 558 Youtube show/podcast thumbnails over two years from 2021 to 2023. The current top 10 most viewed Bankless shows with thumbnails were created by me. Here are a few of those show thumbnails highlighted below. Bankless Shows include: Bankless Podcasts, Weekly Rollups, State of the Nation, Panels and AMAs, Layer 0, Read by David, Alpha Leak, Green Pill, and Overpriced JPEGS (Carly with OPJ has their own independent channel).
